Well-since the last time I used Blogger-they have changed a few things, so we shall see how this goes :) Hope that all is well in blogger-land! Going on 3 years since my accident, can't believe it's been that long! Time flies that's for sure. I hope to be getting some projects done in the near future, in spite of a busy summer planned. Will get some pics posted soon as I can. Sturgis Rally is in it's 75th year this summer-lots and lots of people will be here, so we will be busy busy with that! Will post again soon.....
no-really-soon!

Some of the projects I've finished
So, as promised, here's some pics of the finishes completed since my last post in November. Just a few-some for fun, some for exchanges or just because!
Wow-guess it's been awhile since I've posted!
Sorry peeps! Didn't realize I hadn't posted in so long. So-since last time I posted I have survived the holidaze, worked lots of overtime, and stitched. Oh-I also have been riding my Harley, since we have some record breaking weather around here lately. That's been the best part-riding is therapeutic for me. As is stitching :) Will gather up some pics of some of my latest and greatest projects and post them later-got check out what the last thing was I posted first! Everyone take care-later!!

Welcome to the Holidaze!
Been awhile since I last posted, really trying to get back to posting on a regular basis. So, since returning from MI I've been busy. Stitching of course! My 13 year old DD decided she wanted to live with her Dad. We had tried it before without the best results. Trying again-so far so good. Well, when she moved out we had a little empty room upstairs. Hmmmm.....what to do with it I wondered? We don't need more storage-we're trying to get stuff out of the house. My brilliant idea was to make it my stitching room. Brilliant yes, but would DBF let me do it? Ah....that is the question! Well, it went a lot smoother than I anticipated, and he was very OK with me doing that. So-I've got most of my stuff moved up there (TV, chair, stitchy stash), got the paint bought (cinnamon toast w/ brandy accent wall), now just need to paint! Once painted and organized I will post some pics of my room....I love saying that, "my room". My DBF may have second thoughts though. I spend alot of time up there. He hasn't complained yet-I'll keep you posted! Here's hoping you have a marvelous Thanksgiving!!

it's been awhile....
So-hello to all! Been busy so haven't had time to get organized enough to post anything. I've had a few finishes, no WIPs to post today though. Did start back up on my Spring Cat. I hope to have that one done by spring next year. We shall see!
Did alot of bike riding in August. Had the Sturgis Rally of course-and right after that we went to Michigan. 3093 miles on the bikes!!! Was a great trip-wonderful weather, got to meet the DBFs family and see a state that I have never been to. Michigan is beautiful-and not at all what I expected. I also got to meet a stitchy friend when I was in Bay City! Doesn't get much better than that! Here are a few pics of stuff I stitched this summer-enjoy!!

a new finish and a WIP
So here is my current WIP. A lovely little freebie from Sweetbriar Needle Designs June 2011 newsletter. Stitching it over one on 28ct almond Jazlynn. Using some beautiful over-dyed floss that my partner in a color exchange recently sent me. Pic doesn't really do it justice. Not sure yet how I'm gonna finish this one.....
Probably won't get much stitching done now the rest of August-we have the bike rally then vacation right after that. Kinda looking forward to September when things slow down, cool off and riding the bike becomes less of a priority and stitching becomes more of one!
Here's my latest finish (sort of). I think I'm gonna try a bell pull with this one. Just need to pick up the hardware. This one is for our living room. I always give my stitching away-thought I would do one to keep.
That's it for now....til next time!

latest WIP
So here is the project I've been spending most of my stitching time on lately. This one is for our home. It's a pattern I bought way back in the early 90s. I stitched it once before way back then, in blues. Was alright, but I think this one is better simply cuz I have more experience now. It's hard to tell but it's on a pale blue aida-14ct. I converted to browns as our house is decorated in browns and blues (earth and sky).
Will post more later-been a busy summer, and although I am having a grand time and spending lots of time on my bike, I'm already looking forward to down time this winter. Not to mention some cooler temps! Til next time.....
